Who We Are

We love wedding photography! It’s the reason we are together at all really. We met at a photography workshop in Murphy, NC, and we’ve been together almost every day since! The first time we said “I love you” to each other was at a wedding we were photographing. Our enjoyment of working together to document so many wonderful weddings is one of the things that makes our marriage so strong. We are Emilie and Chad, and we are Appalachian Wedding Photography.

You will hear directly from Emilie when you contact us. She is your direct contact to pick packages, build timelines and answer questions. Emilie is highly invested in relationships and getting to know everything there is to support you during the planning stages and wedding day.

Relationships

It’s our goal to have more than just a client and vendor relationship. We want to enjoy working together and hope that relationship extends beyond your wedding day or photoshoot. Many of our clients come visit us months and years after their wedding, and we love it!

Our Kids

These are our kiddos! Lilybet, Liam and Bryant fill our lives with joy. They’d love to meet you too!
